The Foundation is pleased to announce the publication of the latest issue of its Debates and Documents Collection (issue 42), available in open access.
This issue is entitled ‘The Institutions of the European Communities and the European Union: Continuity and Change, 1950-2025’, written by Gilles Grin, Director of the Foundation. This is the French version of the book published in English in October 2025 (issue 40 of the aforementioned Collection). This book traces the history of the European institutions from 1950 to 2025. It shows how, throughout their history, they have been characterised by both continuity and change.
