Since 1998, the Foundation has been pursuing a programme of filmed interviews on relations between Switzerland and Europe and on European integration. Created to collect the precious testimonies of personalities from the political world, the economic sphere and civil society, they count nearly 150 personalities.
Three programmes of filmed interviews allow the Foundation to build a living memory based on the testimonies of protagonists in the construction of Europe. They are interested in both those who have worked in this field and those who are continuing their work.
♦ A first program gathers the testimonies of personalities who have known Jean Monnet;
♦ A second programme looks at the development of relations between Switzerland and Europe;
♦ A third programme is dedicated to European personalities.
These interviews are primarily intended for scientific research. They are to be viewed on site. Some of them may be subject to an embargo.
The Foundation also holds in its collections numerous recordings of personalities who knew Jean Monnet or who were involved in European integration.
