The Foundation joins the Vaud network of Renouvaud librairies

The digital turnaround begun by the Foundation in 2016 and all the work done since then is beginning to bear fruit. An important step has been taken with the integration of the catalogue of the Foundation’s library in Renouvaud, the network of libraries in the Canton of Vaud, which includes forty scientific and heritage libraries, including the Cantonal and University Library. From now on, the Foundation’s works will appear in searches carried out on this portal.

This is a definite asset for the visibility of the Foundation among researchers, as before it was necessary to visit its premises to consult its catalogue. It is also an asset for the network, whose list of works is growing to include specialised literature on Europe.

This integration is the result of a major collaborative effort with Coordination Renouvaud that began in the summer of 2019, when more than 8,000 bibliographic records were migrated to the portal. The Foundation would like to thank the Coordination for its availability and help in this work.

In addition to our entire catalogue, it is possible to consult the list of titles in Jean Monnet’s personal library, that of Henri Rieben or that of Firmin Oulès, former holder of the Chair of Political Economy at the University of Lausanne (1947-1974) and founder of the New School of Lausanne.
