Gilles Grin, Director of the Foundation, is the winner of the 2022 “Mieux comprendre l’Europe” Book Prize for his book “Construction européenne : la révolution d’un continent”, published by the Foundation in June 2021 in its Collection débats et documents.

The second winner of the 2022 Prize is Alexandra Goujon for her book “L’Ukraine: de l’indépendance à la guerre”, published in 2021 by Éditions Le Cavalier Bleu.

Since 2009, the “Mieux comprendre l’Europe” Book Prize has been awarded to authors whose works are genuine educational tools to better understand the foundations of Europe. It is intended for high school students, teachers and teacher trainers, and aims to encourage the general public and schoolchildren to discover books, authors and collections that allow everyone to better understand European issues. The Prize was created in 2009 by the Centre for European Culture of Saint Jean d’Angely. Since 2018, the Jacques Delors Institute is a partner of the Prize.
