On 23 September 2022, the Foundation was pleased to welcome a delegation of former Members of the European Parliament from seven different EU countries. Our visitors are members of the European Parliament – Former Members Association.
After a passionate presentation on the figure of Jean Monnet by Pat Cox, President of the Foundation, the delegation visited the archives, presented by the Director Gilles Grin and the archivist in charge Vincent Bezençon.
Afterwards, President Pat Cox and Vice-President Jacques de Watteville discussed with our guests the major current issues facing the European Union and Switzerland.
The visit was organised by Nathalie Troisfontaines, Head of Events and Communication at the Foundation.
