The Foundation is pleased to announce the publication of the new issue of its Debates and Documents Collection (number 24), available in open access. The original edition of this book, without the postscript, was published in French in June 2021 as the issue 21 of the Collection.
In this historical essay, the author reviews two centuries of Europe’s history and presents the birth, the developments and the limits of the European community. Ultimately, the process of European integration initiated in the aftermath of the Second World War represents the revolution of a continent which knew how to break with the historical inevitability of the past.
