On 22 June 2018, Klaus Welle, Secretary General of the European Parliament, held a conference followed by questions and answers on the subject of the next European elections to be held in May 2019. The event, which brought together some 120 people on the campus of the University of Lausanne, was hosted by Pat Cox, President of the Foundation and former President of the European Parliament.
After the opening of the conference by Pat Cox, the Secretary General of the European Parliament took the floor to speak on the upcoming European elections. These elections, which will take place in May 2019, represent a significant moment in European life. Less than a year before these elections, Klaus Welle paved the way for this important election. He presented the main issues and their ins and outs.
