On 10 March 2022, Roger de Weck, visiting professor at the College of Europe in Bruges, author of “Die Kraft der Demokratie – Eine Antwort auf die autoritären Reaktionäre” (Suhrkamp 2021), former director general of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR) and former editor-in-chief of “Die Zeit”, gave a lecture on “Relation Switzerland-Europe: historical and geopolitical perspective”.
The event was organised by the Foundation and the NSH (New Helvetic Society). It was held live on Zoom.
Roger de Weck’s lecture was followed by a discussion with Niklaus Lundsgaard-Hansen, President of the New Helvetic Society and Gilles Grin, Director of the Jean Monnet Foundation for Europe as well as questions from the audience.
