On 5 October 2023, the Foundation, in partnership with the New Helvetic Society (NSH), organised a dialogue on “Universities facing major European and global challenges”, with contributions from Frédéric Herman, Rector of the University of Lausanne, and Stéphane Berthet, Vice-Rector of the University of Geneva.
This was followed by a discussion with Gilles Grin, Director of the Jean Monnet Foundation for Europe, and Niklaus Lundsgaard-Hansen, President of the New Helvetic Society, as well as questions from the audience.
The event took place on the campus of the University of Lausanne and was broadcast live on YouTube.
