On 29 June 2022, Gerhard Schwarz, President of the Progress Foundation and former Director of Avenir Suisse, held a conference on the theme of “Switzerland in Europe – political distance despite economic proximity”.
This event was organised by the Foundation and the NSH (New Helvetic Society). It was held live on Zoom.
Gerhard Schwarz’s lecture was followed by a discussion with Niklaus Lundsgaard-Hansen, President of the New Helvetic Society and Eva Paul, Head of Scientific Expertise and Publications of the Jean Monnet Foundation for Europe, and questions from the audience.
