On 21 September 2021, the Foundation organised, in partnership with Savoir Suisse, a dialogue on the book “For an active neutrality. From Switzerland to Europe”.
Micheline Calmy-Rey, former President of the Swiss Confederation and author of the above-mentioned book, and François Hollande, former President of the French Republic, were able to discuss their vision of Europe in the world.
The dialogue was followed by a discussion with Jacques de Watteville, Vice-President of the Foundation, former Secretary of State of the Swiss Confederation and Jean-Philippe Leresche, President of the Editorial Committee of the Savoir suisse collection, Professor at the University of Lausanne and President of the Scientific Committee of the Foundation.
The event, which began with an introduction by Rector Frédéric Herman, was held on the campus of the University of Lausanne and was also broadcast live on YouTube and Facebook.
