On October 13, 2020 at midday, the Foundation launched its new event concept called “Discussion-sandwich”, aimed primarily at students on the university campus.
The aim of these events is to create a friendly space where students can interact with a personality while enjoying a delicious sandwich. This first event took place at Le Perchoir, the rooftop of the new Vortex building on the University of Lausanne campus.
We were delighted to welcome Philippe G. Nell, Honorary Ambassador of the Swiss-Latin American Chamber of Commerce and former diplomatic minister at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs in Bern, as the first speaker. On the occasion of the release of his new publication (issue 19 of the Foundation’s Debates and Documents Collection), Philippe G. Nell will be speaking on the occasion of the launch of his new publication (issue 19 of the Foundation’s Debates and Documents Collection). Nell presented the key elements of the foreign economic policy strategies of Switzerland and the United States towards China. Participants were able to ask him questions related to his work and his rich professional experience.
