On 20 September 2021, Timothy Garton Ash, Professor of European Studies at Oxford University, Isaiah Berlin Professorial Fellow at St Antony’s College, Oxford, and Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, gave a lecture in English on “The German elections and Germany’s place in Europe”.
The event was organised by the Foundation. It was held live and broadcast on Facebook and YouTube.
Timothy Garton Ash’s lecture was followed by a discussion with Pat Cox, President of the Foundation and former President of the European Parliament, and questions from the audience.
